WELCOME TO FAIR HAVEN
Fair Haven is place where you can come as you are and worship with other people experiencing life together. Fair Haven is all about loving people and changing lives through Jesus Christ.
What are the services like?
Worship services are offered at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. every Sunday. Each service lasts about sixty minutes. Worship is our response to God, and it takes on many different forms. During each worship service, we strive to see God as we praise Him through uplifting and encouraging music. Then we hear God through a message from the Bible, so that we might grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, we have a time for each person to respond to God by either committing one’s life to Christ, placing one’s membership, or taking Communion as we remember the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Adult Classes are offered during the 8:30, 9:45, and 11a services. These classes are designed for you to learn and grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
The overall vision of Fair Haven is “loving people and changing lives” We do this through Pursue. Connect. Serve. Reach. We pursue God, connect with each other, serve within the church, and reach out in evangelism.
The purpose of Small Group is to Connect “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17 “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18.20. We pursue God together through bible study and times of discussion. We connect together through small group nights and through accountability. We serve together through care and support of one another in the group. Finally we reach together through inviting new people into the group and by applying the teaching in daily living and through service projects through the year. We complete this purpose as a small group each year by giving others the experience of small group through launching out new small groups from within.
Small Group is a community of people from 3-15 people committed to meet on a consistent basis to disciple one another through fellowship, bible study, prayer, and ministry to one another. Community is vital to small groups and we believe that relationships formed together with God create lasting friendships that lead to deep relationships.
The vision of small group is to create a place where new friendships are formed. Groups help us form personal relationships with others by providing a safe space where friendships are formed, which could then become more intimate and lead to deeper relationships.
