We support a wide range of global missionaries from Italy to India and from Haiti to Africa. These locations have missionaries on the ground serving every day. They are reaching the native peoples where they are at. One direct way you can serve is through your prayers for the specific missionaries. Another way you can serve is through your financial support. We also provide global mission trips throughout the year where you can really experience what it means to sacrifice, what it means to be blessed to go on a mission trip. These trips require team meetings, raising funds, and obtaining necessary documents to enter the specific country. If you are passionate about taking God’s word to a foreign soil and serve the Globe please contact the church office: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will connect you with the missions team here at Fair Haven.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28.19-20) NIV

The Missions Committee of Fair Haven Christian Church considers it a privilege to assist our students who are planning to attend approved Christian colleges. Acceptable colleges are those that are affiliated with, and adhere to the ideals of, the Independent Christian Churches, and whose primary function is to educate and train individuals for a profession in ministry or missionary work.
The current list of approved colleges includes the following: Atlanta Christian College, Cincinnati Christian University, Dallas Christian College, Great Lakes Christian College, Johnson University, Kentucky Christian University, Lincoln Christian College, Ozark Christian College, St. Louis Christian College, and Central Christian College in Moberly, Mo. Other Christian Colleges will be considered for approval as they are brought to the attention of the Mission Committee.
As funds are available, scholarships will be awarded to students who are members of Fair Haven Christian Church, are enrolled as full-time students (minimum of 12 credit hours per semester), and who maintain an average of C or above (2.0 GPA). First-time applicants are required to write and submit a short (up to 1 page) commentary to the Mission Committee outlining their goals. Each subsequent semester the student must provide a copy of the previous semester’s grades as well as a completed scholarship application form. Since the deadline for the spring semester application is before the student will have received his or her fall semester grades, the latest GPA achieved, if any, will be acceptable. The deadline stated on the application form also applies to all supporting documents.
After the second semester, scholarships will be available only to those students who are committed to the pursuit of a career in the preaching of the gospel, missionary work, and/or other church-related ministries.
Participants in the FHCC Scholarship Program are expected to demonstrate responsible Christian conduct and be willing to serve at Fair Haven whenever possible.Payment of scholarship funds will be made by check from the FHCC Mission Committee directly to the financial office of the appropriate college.
